Salsa Making with Dad

Dad flew into town on Friday Oct. 7th to make Salsa!

We bought 100 pounds of tomatoes from a local stand.

Tomatoes were the size of softballs.
Dad and Kev boiling and peeling the tomatoes.
 Preparing the Jars.
I was on Veggie duty- onions, peppers, celery, tomatillos.

Boil it all together add some seasonings

We made 77 Quarts (almost 20 gallons) of Salsa. Yum!

Also while he was here, Dad cooked us some tasty Stir fry

Dad Made Marion Berry Jam

And Berry Crisp- My all time favorite Dessert!

Thanks for coming Dad we loved having you here!
