Citris Club

We went to a wedding a couple weekends ago. It was at a small catholic church and the reception was in a skyskraper downtown orlando in a fancy club called the Citrus Club. It was beautiful.

Open bar, Kev and I rocked out on the gingerale and grenadine mix.

The Menu: (outstanding food)

Salad- Caesar

Entree- Filet Mignon,Mashed potatoes, crab stuffed shrimp with halendaze sauce steamed tomato and carrot

Dessert- Wedding Cake

Specially made truffles as a favor, and prepoured champagne

Stephanotis--The little white flowers with pearl pins in the center are said to bring good luck to your marriage. I think they can be used so elegantly. I had them in my boquet- So far so good!

Calling all Wanna-be Wedding Planners!

My best girlfriend from college is getting hitched December 27. My assignment from affar is to find ideas for centerpeices. Her colors are Red, Black, and White. Places like BHG & MSW have all kinds of crazy combinations except for the above mentioned. I need websites & ideas! The usuals like "the knot" and "the wedding channel" want your life handed over to view pictures. I"m not wanting to encourage more spam by giving them my name addess phone #. Do you gals know of any wedding websites with ideas/pictures for centerpeices and/or specific color schemes that you don't have to sign your life away to view? Any ideas you have floating around? Do share!!

Skiff's Cakes

My friend Laura got married last month, and this is her beautiful wedding cake from Skiff's Cakes in So Cal. I fell in love with the design on the bottom layer.

I have fallen in love with this wedding cake from Martha. If I did it all again, I think this is what I'd do, but instead of statues I'd use mongogram letters of our innitials for a cake topper. Simple and Lovely. I Love...
