Savannah Georgia

After Graduation Ceremonies, Me, Husband, Brother and his family headed over to Savannah Georgia. We all decided it was on our list of top places in the U.S. It earned this ranking despite the super humid 80 degree weather. It was BEAUTIFUL!

A little bit of Architecture...

And, yes these big beautiful trees lined all the streets, It was a sight to behold...

Really old churches with gorgeous stain glass windows...

Shops and restaurants along the riverfront...

VERY old buildings lined the river...

A courtyard among the beautiful homes.

The Walk in Forsyth Park was breathtaking. The trees were magnificent, and the fountain so elegant. Recognize this park? This is the park on the movie Forrest Gump, where he sat on the bench and the feather floated down. I would spend all my time in this park...

Sis in law booked the hotel- The AVIA- AMAZING- It was in the historical district(the heart of the city). It was tempting to just stay in the room... :) (pics from hotels.com)

A must see!
